So Dan took Lorelei hunting for the first time. She had a good time. I was nervous about how she might react to seeing a deer shot and killed but Dan said she took it like a champ. I'm so proud of her. I would have cried like a baby. But I'm always sad when a living creature dies. Who knew the coldest bitch in the room could be the softest? Not me. haha I spent the weekend at home. Borrowed Jen's steam cleaner. That thing works good. I know what I want for Christmas. Went and saw my friend Luke do his Comedy Sportz thing on Friday night. I needed a good laugh and was NOT disapointed. I can always count on Luke to make me laugh. Went for drinks with him and couple of his co workers to this caribbean place on Glisan. It was alright. First time in my adult life I found a beer that didn't agree with me. I got really relaxed which was nice but then my stomach turned south. It sucked but I pulled through. It was nice spending time with Luke and spending time alone. I could use more weekends like that. But I sure missed my girl while she was gone. When they got home late last night I picked her up out of the car (she was half asleep). She looked up with hazy eyes and said "I missed you mommy". It's then that you realize that it's all worth it. |

Woke up late today. Lorelei has to be at school at 8:30. I woke up at 8:45. Doh!!! She was a good sport about it. Things like that have to happen so she can see that even mommy isn't perfect. Still sucks. I Suck. Oh, Well. At least I didn't have to open this morning. That would have sucked even worse. |
